Sally K.

A former classroom teacher and founder of Simplify It Tutoring, Sally has been helping students build confidence in math since 2015. She especially loves the moment when a student who believes they “can’t do math” realizes they really can. Sally combines clear instruction, encouragement, and practical strategies to make Algebra feel far less overwhelming. Outside of tutoring, she loves spending time with her five adult children and three grandchildren.

A Florida-certified math teacher with more than 30 years of experience, Lisa supports students from middle school through college-level math. She specializes in helping students strengthen foundational skills, work through challenging concepts, and prepare for tests and college-level coursework. Her patient, encouraging approach helps students gain both mathematical skills and the confidence to use them.

A Florida-certified math teacher with 17 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Chatney supports students in Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, and SAT/ACT preparation. She breaks challenging concepts into clear, manageable steps while creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, learning from mistakes, and building confidence.

Brad helps students build confidence and clarity in upper-level mathematics, from Precalculus through AP Calculus. With a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech, he brings strong mathematical expertise and a practical approach to problem solving. Brad focuses on making difficult concepts more approachable so students understand not just how to solve a problem, but why the mathematics works.

Gina is a passionate Spanish educator with more than 20 years of experience teaching Spanish and English as a Second Language. A native of Colombia and Puerto Rico, she has served as a World Languages department head and helped develop curriculum and Spanish courses for Florida Virtual School. She holds a master’s degree from the University of Salamanca in Spain and brings both language expertise and cultural perspective to her students.

Evelyn W.

Evelyn is an experienced ELA educator who has supported students from middle school through college. A former College Board essay scorer, she brings particular expertise to AP Language & Composition, writing, and SAT/ACT preparation. She is also a professional writer whose clients have included NASA and national publications, giving students the benefit of both classroom expertise and real-world writing experience.
